Tell us a little bit about yourself — whatever you’re comfortable sharing.
I’m from Norcross, Ga. I went to both the University of Georgia & University of Tennessee. Other than work, I’ve take salsa classes, hang out with friends and of course read.
What do you miss most about college?
I miss having less responsibilities and not necessarily having to deal with loans and bills to the extent of what’s in the real world.
If you were the casting director for the film version of Don’t Let Me Fall, what actors would you select for the main characters, Nick and Ciara?
For Nick, this is a little weird because he’s older, but the guy from Soul Food [Darrin Dewitt Henson], because he’s teetering in that he’s a good guy but it’s his freshman year and he wants to be a player. For Ciara, I’m thinking Meagan Goode or maybe Tia or Tamera Mowry. One of them.
What’s the last book you read (outside of Don’t Let Me Fall) that you fell in love with?
I recently finished a Wahida Clark series. That was the last time I was like ‘I must get the next book.’
What was your favorite cheap college food?
I still brag about Wendy’s when I could get a junior bacon cheeseburger, fries, drink and a frosty for $4.

Remember the college TV series A Different World? Were you #TeamWhitley or #TeamDenise?
Can I be Team Kim? Whitley was a little too materialistic and Denise was so aloof so I can’t go with her either, so I’m going with Team Kim.
Who is the funniest person you follow on Twitter? Most inspirational?

@JoelOsteen will make you feel good even if everything went wrong that day.
What is your favorite television show?
Scandal is real good. They left us hanging — who is Quinn? [ABC renewed it for a second season!] Modern Family is a close second.
Paperback or E-reader?
I’ve been reading a lot more digital books, but I have the e-book and paperback of Don’t Let Me Fall.
