These lights in my backyard 😍😍😍. I have wanted to see the Northern Lights for a long time and had began plotting a trip far far far away. And while I will keep those plans, to be able to see them at my doorstep…just absolutely amazing 🤩

Try again. If Jesus asks you…TRY AGAIN. Peter experiences TWO miraculous catches of fish — in Luke 5 when Jesus FIRST says “Follow me” and in John 21 after Jesus’ resurrection and before His FINAL request: “Follow me.” So much changes between those “follow me”s. Peter makes several mistakes. And Jesus offers continued grace and understanding. If you are in a “familiar situation” perhaps it is an opportunity to try again and FOLLOW Jesus. It may be different this time ❤️🙌🏾

When you’re on a spiritual journey, you will reach a point where you’re so sensitive that you can’t consume everything. You become allergic to things that contradict your beliefs or disrupt your destiny. This isn’t a legalistic perspective, but simply a heads-up on the transformation process…

There are things I used to watch on TV, music I used to listen to, people I used to be around, and experiences I used to seek that will literally make me nauseous at the thought of it.

The presence of those things will affect you physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, every-ly 🤣🤣.

For example, I struggle around extremely fearful people because that fear is contagious, ya’ll! It spreads and I ain’t about that life no more.

It becomes so toxic and corrupting that you have to choose peace and purpose over certain entertainment, experiences, and exchanges with people. ✌🏾

So if you’re feeling “sick,” perhaps it’s an “allergic reaction” and you keep coming into contact with allergens that you need to avoid. Pay attention. Be intentional. Change your diet.

In Romans 8:11, Paul writes: “If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you.” Wow. I just want to remind you of the Power YOU have. That’s all. Cause sometimes you think, talk, and act like you are powerless. But you have THE Power. ☺️💪🏾

Yesterday I spoke and I didn’t feel the nervous jitters! Change is possible 🙌🏾

The thought of speaking before a crowd always sent me into a tailspin of fear, doubt, and anxiety. I was always too shy for the spotlight.

But that tug to say something became stronger and stronger. Over the years, amazing and challenging experiences taught me how not just to navigate my “nerves” but to overcome the fear.

Whenever I got an idea or felt compelled to speak, that jittery sensation soon followed. I taught myself that feeling meant that I HAD to say it. And so I did. Every time fear popped up I did the opposite of what it said.

I want you to know that fear doesn’t have to paralyze you—it can be the thing that pushes you forward.

Whether it is speaking up in a meeting or on a stage, your voice matters. 👏🏾👏🏾

Happy Resurrection Sunday!! I don’t know about y’all but I am eternally GRATEFUL. God saved me. God IS saving me. Jesus said thy will be done and I aim to say the same. Living my life in light of salvation is my “reasonable service.” It was a life for a life❤️

I hosted the last lesson in my online Bible study, THE ONE. I’m lowkey sad that I won’t be meeting up with my crew next week. 🥲But I am also motivated to figure out what we will do next. (If you have thoughts or a topic you would like to cover comment or message me!) Even though this wasn’t my first time teaching, speaking, or leading Bible Study, I was SO scared to do it online like that. What if no one showed up? What if someone started trolling? These internet streets can be shady, and y’all know it! 👏🏾👏🏾I set a goal to reach one person each week, took a deep breath and showed up anyway. Talk about Faith Beats Fear!! 🙌🏾❤️ Did you miss it?
