Purposeful Prayers becoming a top-ranked book, including reaching #3 on Amazon, is not just a milestone. It’s a reminder that people are hungry for more than inspiration. They want alignment. They want direction. They want to live on purpose.

This book was written to help people slow down, listen closely, and pray with intention, not chasing outcomes, but becoming who God is shaping them to be.

So thank you. Thank you for reading. Thank you for trusting me with your time, your faith, and your questions. Thank you for allowing me to speak, teach, and walk alongside you as we learn to pray and live on purpose.

This success belongs to all of us who believe purpose is not accidental and prayer is not passive.

Don’t allow fear and doubt to talk you out of pursuing God’s purpose.

These are not reasons to STOP. They are reasons to START WITH PURPOSE 👏🏾👏🏾.

Pray for God to give you insight and wisdom for your next step. 🙏🏾

I truly believe that many of the problems we face would be solved by now if we didn’t let fear keep us from pursuing purpose.

Don’t think of prayer as a means to “get stuff.” Prayer allows you to get clear. To get confident. To increase your capacity!

Ask God: Who would you have me be? What qualities do I need to develop? What should I prioritize? How should I approach my assignments?

Don’t make prayer a last resort when things get crazy! Start with purpose and prayer. 🙏🏾

Paul doesn’t tell us to deny suffering. He tells us what it produces.

And I would never encourage you to act like you are not experiencing pain, grief, or loss. It is so VERY REAL!! I believe in Jesus, prayer AND professional therapists and medical help. Don’t you know God gifted them with the capacity and ability to heal?

However, I have learned that affliction leads somewhere. If you are in the seat of suffering, THIS IS NOT THE END, my friend.

What you’re walking through may be forming endurance, shaping character, and leading you to a HOPE that does not put you to shame. You will not be left abandoned and ashamed ❤️.

This is the good news.

In seasons of deep darkness, people don’t need polished answers. They need a living connection.
The Bible isn’t just words on a page. It’s where I meet God, where Jesus reveals Himself as peace, presence, and hope. I share this not as the source, but as a carrier of the good news that has carried me.

Sometimes the season doesn’t give you what you expect, but it always gives you a moment that meets you where you are.

My Christmas short-story collection, A Holiday Reunion, gathers those moments into one place. Families finding their rhythm again. Old wounds thawing. Joy surprising people who swore they were done with it.

If you’re craving a cozy read that touches the tender spots and reminds you what the holidays can still offer, this one’s for you.

I ran into a Grady Grad and asked her what year she graduated. She said 2020 then asked me mine. I laughed because I felt…seasoned😆😆. Girl I graduated 20 years ago. #UGAClassOf2005 #UGAhomecoming

“Our assumption that greener grass is a pasture that matches the life we built up keeps us holding tightly to our own plans. That’s when we don’t even realize we’re walking in the wrong direction.

The problem isn’t even necessarily open rebellion but we’re simply determined to follow through. We think we’re doing the “right” thing. The responsible thing. The thing we should do. But what if that path leads us further from purpose?

Many people are living lives that look stable on the outside but the storm on the inside has them tossed from here to there. They’re stuck in roles they were never called to, chasing dreams that were never divinely ordained, exhausting themselves for approval that God never asked them to earn.

Those are the times where the most loving thing God can do is stop us in our tracks. Still us. Interrupt a life that’s headed in the wrong direction. This is not done to shame us, but to save us and reroute us to the path of righteousness.

Stillness is often the beginning of clarity.

It’s where we finally pause and ask, “God, is this even where You want me to be?” And that question can change everything.” - Excerpt from “Lord, Show Me Your Green Pastures”

I am re-reading as a reader vs. the author and this was a much needed reminder for me this morning. Hope it blesses you 💚🙏🏾
